Stories are living creatures. They live and breathe and scream and kick and squirm and roll all over around us like a bunch of crazed monsters sometimes. Some other times, they could be hiding over the moon, amongst the stars, between the trees, in a single falling leaf or a rain drop or a musical note, or even behind the back of your head, waiting to be found in a ridiculous hide-and-seek game that you never know you were playing until you find them. And in rare occasions, they could come to you, peacefully and quietly and timid as a kitten wanting to be petted.
Such strange and fantastic creatures, aren’t they? However, not everyone of us can sense them. They are creatures of imagination, and thus, only those with great imagination can feel their presence. This self-proclaim Prince of Tales is one of those people. You see, he has a very, VERY wild imagination, and his sanity likes to take frequent vacations, therefore, he couldn’t help it but see stories everywhere. But, it is not fun when you are the only one who see something so fantastic. It is like when you see a very beautiful picture or hear a spectacular song or a masterpiece movie, when there is an urge to share the epiphany. That is why the Prince of tales wants to tell others of the stories he saw, sharing them through written words, so that everyone can see those stories, such as the one you are reading now.
